 PHS Museum Hours:  Open Saturdays, from April to the first Saturday in December, from 10 AM to 2 PM, except for some holiday weekends.  Also open by appointment, please email us via the link on the "Contact Us" page to schedule an appointment.  Refer to listings below for variations in schedule. 
Admission:  No charge, unless otherwise indicated. 
Location: PHS is located at 167 Main Street in Preston, Maryland, near the intersection of Main Street and Harmony Road, the parking lot and museum entrance are located behind Mike's Corner Store.  From Main Street turn onto Harmony Road; the parking lot and entrance to PHS is located on the right. Traveling to Preston on Harmony Road, the PHS parking lot is on the left, just past Car-O-Lin Court.

  • September 21, 2024 10:00 am – Membership Meeting followed by Preston Trucking Company presentation. 25th anniversary of the closing of the company. Guest speaker Bill Lyons. Public invited.

  • October 20, 2024 1:00 – 5:00 pm – Cash Bingo Fundraiser. Volunteers welcome! Click here for details.
  • October 31, 2024 6:00 – 8:00 pm – Haunted Porch at PHS. Volunteers welcome!

November 2024

  • November 3, 2024 Honoring Our Veterans Celebration at the Preston Volunteer Fire Company.
  • Missing Man Ceremony by Vietnam Veterans of America Post 648. Free luncheon provided for veterans. Food provided by Catering by Jamie. Proceeds to go to a local veteran’s organization.
  • November 16, 2024 10:00 am – Membership Meeting. Guest speaker to be determined.
  • November 30, 2024 10:00 am – 2:00 pm - Christmas Open House at PHS. Santa Claus will be visiting. Decorated Christmas trees for sale.
  • Museum open every Saturday from 10:00 to 2:00
